How long did the project take ? Is it still being worked on ?
Were there ever situations in the game set up for the learner to deal with communicating under pressure ? Such as dealing with an angry agent?

The paper is nice to read and it enhances the good qualities of the application and its approach. Anyway, I'd like to ask you about the superiority of a real experience and a virtual simulation. Could not a full immersion of 1-2 week with real people bring to the same results? Note that the game-based approach can be used also in "real simulations". Another risk of virtual simulations is that learners' knowledges are dependent from a specialist's knowledge and they inevitably see the culture through the specialist's eyes instead of experimenting it first person. Real simulation can also help to make team/fellow feelings and that can help soldiers in missions. Can your application run in multiplayer?
