A little late but I have a couple of questions.
1) Aren't those people a bit optimistic that turning to the general public would allow them to make a database of general knowledge large enough that a machine could have something close to a commonsense? Those hunder million users of the internet don't all speak english, are 'childish' and many would ofcourse come up with the same knowledge.
2) Where are people going to take those commonsense machines once they are up and running (if they ever do). What is the ultimate goal of those groups of people who are trying to set up those machines? Is it just the tough challenge of solving it that is driving them forward.
