How big was the team that worked on this project?
Does it take long for messages and commands to be sent from Earth to Mars or is the communication realtime?
Is MAPGEN still being developed or used today? Have there been any major improvements to it?

1) do I understand correctly if I say that the user interface played an important role? Have studies on the UI been made?
2) Can you further explain the backtracking system?
3) What was the biggest difficultly you encountered during this project? Has it been a 'fun' project?

Where do you see the fields of AI and Space exploration in 20-30 years?
Many tasks may need some form of special knowledge from a scientist do you think this form of knowledge can be integrated into a system like this or do you think a new approach is necessary for a totally autonomous system.

Could you explain alitle better the activity time on the robot. Is it always on the move or does it sleep somewhere.
What happens if something came up and the robot would fall on the side, how would it get back up?
